How can I see my notes or turn in my homework on a paperless writer?

Answer:You would need to be connected in realtime or you would need to dump your notes into your CAT system.  Once the notes are in the CAT system, all modern systems have the capacity to print the raw steno notes.

Do I have to clear the memory and if so how do I clear the memory?

Answer:You can clear the memory at any time. However when the memory reaches it max capacity no further steno will be recorded. To clear the memory follow these steps: 

1. Press the third and fourth gray function buttons at the same time. This will access the clear memory mode. The writer will then beep.
2. Release the buttons the beeping will stop and the RAM icon will flash. (To exit without clearing memory press any other gray function button to exit the mode.)
3. To clear the memory press the third and fourth gray function buttons again. The writer clears the memory and confirms it by three rapid beeps, displaying the memory blocks, and changing the flashing RAM icon to a solid display.
