Sony IBM formatted HD Floppy Disks - unopened box

Sony 3.5" HD Floppy Disks for Stentura & Elan Mira Writers

Keep spare diskettes on hand for your next reporting assignment. This unopened box contains 10 Sony double-sided, high-density (DS/HD) 3.5" floppy disks with a nominal IBM-formatted capacity of 1.44MB per disk. A practical supply for court reporters who use compatible Stentura or Elan Mira writers with a floppy disk drive.

Compatible Steno Writers

• Stentura 6000 and 8000
• Stentura 6000LX and 8000LX
• Elan Mira G1 and G2 with a floppy disk drive

Check the media type before ordering: These are HD (high-density) diskettes, not DD (double-density) 720KB diskettes. Choose the type required by your writer. If you are unsure, call StenoWorks at 800-399-4605 before purchasing.

Format in Your Writer Before Use

Although the disks are supplied IBM formatted, StenoWorks recommends formatting each disk in your writer's drive before use. Follow your writer's instructions, then make a short test recording and confirm that the notes can be read before using the disk for a reporting assignment. Formatting erases any existing data.
