Keep your trusted Stenograph Diamante performing at its best with StenoCare from StenoWorks. Originally introduced in 2016, StenoCare provides annual service and repair protection for eligible stenotype machines, helping reduce unexpected repair expenses and equipment downtime.

Our experienced service technicians maintain an extensive inventory of replacement parts and provide specialized mechanical and electronic repair services for professional steno writers.

Choose Your Annual Coverage

Renewal — $249: For eligible writers with continuous qualifying warranty or service-plan coverage.

First-Time or Lapsed — $329: For eligible writers not currently covered by a qualifying active plan or warranty.

Renewal eligibility is subject to verification. New and lapsed plans may require a waiting period or an approved service inspection.

Optional Loaner Writer Coverage

Add $120 per year.

Court reporters depend on their equipment every day. With optional loaner coverage, you may receive a compatible temporary writer while your Diamante undergoes a qualifying covered repair.

Loaner availability, shipping arrangements, care requirements, and return deadlines are governed by the StenoCare loaner agreement. An identical model is not guaranteed.

Optional Writer Maintenance & Reconditioning

Take advantage of special StenoCare service pricing when purchasing your annual protection plan. Select one of the following optional services:

Routine Maintenance — $179

Regular price: $199.

Designed for writers that are operating properly and have been reconditioned within the last two to three years.

  • Exterior and interior cleaning
  • Inspection of mechanical components
  • Lubrication and adjustment as needed
  • General condition and operation checks
  • Minor cosmetic cleaning and refresh

Does not include complete degreasing, replacement of all key pads, or extensive mechanical restoration.

Full Reconditioning (Overhaul) — $349

Proposed special StenoCare price.

For writers needing a more complete mechanical restoration, full reconditioning provides a deeper level of service than routine maintenance.

  • Complete internal and exterior cleaning
  • Removal of accumulated grease and debris
  • Degreasing and fresh lubrication
  • Replacement of applicable key and mechanical padding
  • Mechanical adjustments and recalibration as applicable
  • Inspection and operational testing

Extensive repairs, unavailable parts, and unrelated electronic failures may require additional authorization and charges.

Routine maintenance and full reconditioning are optional, separately purchased services. They are not included in the basic annual StenoCare plan. The selected service is performed once during the plan term by prior arrangement with StenoWorks.

Important Coverage Information

StenoCare is intended for eligible mechanical and electronic failures under normal use.

StenoCare does not cover: accidental damage, drops, liquid damage, misuse, theft, loss, preexisting defects, cosmetic-only damage, or other exclusions specified in the written program agreement.

New or lapsed coverage is subject to a 60-day waiting period unless an approved inspection and correction of existing problems establishes eligibility for earlier coverage under the final terms.

All applications are subject to eligibility review. Customers must provide their writer's model and serial number.
